The Nike Zoom Series is the definition of speed personified.  In connection with the NYC marathon and the launch of this collection, we designed an immersive experience modeled to create the sensation of being at the center of a speeding centrifuge.  Athletes* were given the chance to explore and trial the range of product innovations and receive full running consultations from Nike trained expert coaches.

Every 5 minutes a marathon style clock would compete a countdown and initiate a sequence of digital content and lighting giving everyone in the arena the sensation that they were moving at incredible speeds. Motion capture cameras lined the walls conveying the feeling that this expereince was in fact part of a Nike Sport Research Laboratory (NSRL) speed test.
